TTS Group is proud to announce a sponsorship deal recently brokered with Aussie Racing Car Super Series team Edwards Motor Racing, and the Darrell Lea Confectionary Co. Toyota Aurion #9.
Travis Edwards, team driver, is currently sitting in 5th place of the 2013 series and is a strong prospect to move forward over the remaining two rounds of 2013.
As a company that provides professional services in the traffic and transport sector we see this sponsorship deal as a fantastic opportunity for both our staff and clients to be involved in a common interest that involves a bit of fun.

Partnering with such a fast growing, dynamic company seemed a natural fit with the rising success of the Aussie Racing Car Super Series, which recently announced a massive 50 car entry list for the Gold Coast 600 event. Having started this year with a new car we’ve struggled with niggling mechanical issues, but our consistent results have kept us in the top 5 of the championship series. A 2nd place finish at the last round in Winton has given us the confidence that we’re on the right track now heading into two of my favourite events. Historically I run really strong on street circuits and I’m hoping to capitalise on the minor points margin separating me from the top few positions” said Travis.
Aussie Racing Cars are pure-bred race machines designed and custom-built in Australia with their small size enabling thrilling four-wide braking and overtaking manoeuvres with lighting quick acceleration reaching speeds up to 230kph – The cars’ twin-cam 16 valve engine generates 125bhp, revs up to 11,500rpm and weights a mere 450kg.
Despite the vehicles being about half the size of a V8 Supercar they offer an extreme amount of energy with a power to weight ratio similar to that of a superbike – they are labelled the Twenty20 of car racing.
